The ELK-6040 Wireless Glass Break Sensor is designed for the ELK-M1XRFTWM Transceiver and the ELK-M1 Control. The 6040 listens, across the full audio band, for actual patterns of breaking glass, using its Trademarked Pattern Recognition Technology.
The factory setting for pattern recognition makes it possible to detect the difference between a glass breaking in a framed perimeter (windows in a building) vs. a drinking glass breaking within a room.
